There are lots of activities to choose from right on the beach. Behind the hotels that are adjacent to the water, there is a divided paved area for vehicles you pedal. Then there is a separate paved strip for walkers. From there you move out to the sand and surf.
There are restaurants and bars open to the beach, and you can usually find live music in the evenings.
